HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS
Our Terms and Conditions of Hire are set out below. Please read this section carefully.
A current driving license (held for a minimum of 24 months) must be produced prior to hire and certain endorsements are subject to individual acceptance. Failure to produce your license means we are unable to hire vehicles out to you. NB: British drivers who have the new British photo ID drivers licence must produce both parts of the new British photo ID drivers licence.
Drivers must be over 25 and not over 70 years of age. In the case of Minibuses the maximum age of drivers is 65 years with D1 on driving licence.
Rates include VAT and comprehensive insurance whilst being driven by the Hirer. Additional drivers can be included by arrangement.
Payment for full hire must be made at the commencement of hire by credit card.
Although your hire costs include comprehensive insurance an excess applies to all claims or damage to the vehicle. This excess is your responsibility as the Hirer.
The Hirer is responsible for the first £500. A Collision Damage Insurance is available at a cost of £4 per day hired for cars and £5 per day for Vans and Buses. We recommend you avail yourself of this Collision Damage Insurance not only for the peace of mind but also to reduce your liability to the excess of nil for each and every incident. This insurance must be purchased at the commencement of hire.
Please note that the Collision Damage Insurance does NOT cover your liability for the full cost of repairing or replacing tyres, wheels, wheel trims, wing mirrors, keys, immobilisers, cigar or cigarette burns or any other damage to the interior of vehicles in your possession.
You are responsible for the repair of all punctures whilst the vehicle is rented to you.
Hirers pay for all fuel used whilst on hire. Vehicles are supplied with minimal fuel and should be returned with a minimal fuel load. Penalties apply for vehicles returned with contaminated fuel, wrong fuel or agricultural fuel.
All parking fines and traffic penalties are the responsibility of the Hirer.
